The World According to Cat and Dog

Published by mclj9125 at 1:49 pm under Animals, Uncategorized Edit This

From the first day I can remember, I’ve always had animals around me.   I love the fact that though the look simple minded, they have a very interesting brain that works all the time.  They have very different personalities, likes and dislikes, feelings and  emotions.  Yes, cats and dogs do have emotions.  They may show them differently than humans, but they have them.

Dog thinks he  rules the world-it’s that “man’s best friend“ thing.  And to a point that’s true.  They’re loyal, lovable, take commands (sometimes) and follow you around…Therefore, they are in charge and all others are below them, according to Dog.

However,  then there’s Cat.   Cat is keeper of all the mysteries of the universe.  Just look into the eyes of a cat.    There you’ll see mystery and wisdom looking back at you…So there’s just one rule where Cat is concerned….”Cats rule and dogs drool”.  So simple even Dog can remember it.  After all, dogs do need to be told what and where to go by their human.  Cats on the other hand, go where and when they please on their own terms…Therefore, in their eyes they are above all others…unless of course Dog decides to be in charge, then Cat has to not so gently remind him of his place in the world by introducing Ms. Claw to Mr. Nose……

Someone once said,”You call a dog and he comes to you.  But when you call a cat, they take a message and get back to you later”.   So, this is the world according to Cat and Dog.  If only our world could be so simple….
